WOOHOO! just came back from the ntu invitational championships!
the 3 unis, most polys, tjc, srjc and i think mjc took part other than us..
didnt win but still feel really satisfied
i seriously expected to get like the btm few(but hopefully not btm three teams :X)
but we got into the second round! :DDDDDDDDDDDDD
there were 15 teams(minus one coz vj withdrew) so 14
then we knew our results were the 8th for the first round
so we were expecting not to get in and went to slack around and eat cookies XD
then ltr in the end they called for top EIGHT teams instead of the top 7 so we got a chance to perform again
haha abit sian diao-ed after we knew that.. coz lazy to perform again..
second round i think the judges were more lenient overall
they gave higher marks to all the teams though i felt that we did better for the first round
i think my kicks werent as good the second time..
but we improved to 6th position! our final results!

chil-jang grp got 5th! aiyo one ranking short of a medal..
hmm maybe some schools are over rated :X
o jang grp got bronze!!!!!!!!!!
the other sa jang grp (guys) got 9th!
i felt they were better than us!!!! but i think coz they were the first grp they were quite disadvantaged ):
i dun rmb what ee jang team got :X
but nvm! i think everyone did GREAT!
it was a great exposure!

haha now i feel that joining tkd was the right choice even more!
(erm im referring to the competition.. not the other reason..)
tkd is so different from band!
band is more of a huge group effort whereas
taekwondo is more of an individual or small team effort
this gives me a greater sense of satisfaction as i know i'll reap what i put in
and the things you do is really different
taekwondo gives me some form of thrill which i dont get from band
but band is really enjoyable coz of the music! :D
haha i think all ccas give some form of entertainment/enrichment/satisfaction blah blah
i shall try to get as many different forms of such things by joining diff CCAs!
i think i'll try some new CCA in uni again (:

walked evelyn out of school with cindy then the 2 of us went to play piano and tennis
im really noob at both..
then went for tkd training..
really sick of it already..

then j3 jiawei came to gave us tips on improving and to tell us our mistakes
went for dramafeste feeling really tired..
actually i didnt really like all the plays
i couldnt hear the apollo one but the only part i heard was quite touching
but then sian diao after tt coz i couldnt hear a thing
huang rong told me a few people were crying in lt3 though..
in the end athena didnt win anything again ):
i thought guo jie had a rather good chance.. sigh~

yesterday
went for ntu open house at suntec with ttj and sai
business talk was so crammed and stuffy and we couldnt really play attention to what the person was saying
so we decided to go for the physics and applied physics talk
tt was a rather "un-motivational and de-inspirational talk" * quotes ruyi
or maybe its just coz i didnt like the topic..
yea.. so i was even more deterred.. hahs :X
dun really know what business is going to be like though..
material engineering sounds quite interesting.. but i'll never take the other engineering courses
eh.. but material engineers dun seem to earn much :X
after tt both ttj and sai left so i just walked around tt area
walked to cityhall with them
then strolled through citylink
saw shuxian! lirong! shueli!
i saw lirong at first then i just stoned and stand in front of them and waved quite spastically
i think lirong just waved back but didnt recognise me at first coz her wave was rather hesitant :X
hahah then we talked abit..
they went for the ntu talk but didnt see them
yea then i continued my journey to esplanade..
wanted to see whether there were any exhibitions there but then there's nth..
on the way back my mum called and asked me to check out smth for her at connaught drive..
i went up some ulu exit near some area where stunt bikers were practising
then i saw a dog at the escalator there.. damn scared so in the end i didnt go check then quickly went back down the escalator hahs
walked to ms.. but not much to do so went citylink hmv to walk walk
ltr met cindy and evelyn then went for jts
after tt went for pool with cindy evelyn ruyi andy and pat
anyhow play... seriously damn tyco.. the last time i played i couldnt even hit the WHITE ball
evelyn and pat had to leave earlier
then the rest of us finished the game till 1130
ran from marina through citylink to the mrt to catch the last train
been reaching home close to 1 for quite a number of days already..
shall TRY to be more guai and stay at home more often

i have never known anyone whom i thought made friends for the sake of using them
until i met this person

its been so long since i updated..
been really busy this week especially with chingay and tkd training..
comps are coming.... ARGH omg..

well on wed there was cross country.. forgot to blog about it..
did ne trail with siak, gordon and siyuan
took a really really long walk on the boardwalk
answered some questions related to singapore..
tyco got them correct
played taboo and made a "rat lantern" with 10 red packets
acutally the trail was quite fun..

erm.. fri.. left school early for chingay :D
chionged home to bathe and put bag coz there wasnt any space for us to leave our belongings there..
reached late..
general ushering near the vip area..
helped to put the stuff on the chairs..
stoned around waiting for the crowd to come in..
first day was quite smooth
no hiccups at all and there was even seats for us to sit down
i sat with jia yii and xinyu(from cj) and just watched the entire performance
haha had the top right view of the entire stage
started off with the breakdance and stunt bikes thingy
then waited for Guest of honour
forgot whether they lo hei first or the sports car and stuff first..
but the lo hei was super big..even the dish was super big..
i wonder what they did with it after tt.. they didnt eat it..
then there were harley davidsons and diff sports cars parading the road..ramming their engines..
i thought it was quite loud at first..
until i heard the f1 car!
tt one rammed the engine until super loud.. could even hear quite loudly when it went to perform at the other side of the padang
i didnt remember f1 cars sounding so loud the last time i went to sepang..
erm then after that was all the costume dances and stuff..
hwa chong mad was performing also..
ended late..like around 11plus then lynn's side even later..
rushed for the last train home then met pri sch friend pehgek at yew tee mrt
saw quite a few other pri school classmates at chingay also.. but didnt say hi :X
saw edgar, yu dian, ruo ying.. er dun rmb who i saw..
a couple of st nicks people were also there, du qian, sijia.. grp leader..

parade day
i think i pissed my leader off.. haha who ask her.. hmm
coz she late (as usual) and she even asked us no need to go so early..
then while we were waiting in the volunteer's tent then she called and asked who was there..
i replied :" everyone except you."
hahahah damn mean.. but oh well..she hung up too haha
second day was almost the same routine..
but we were allocated to the extreme left of the stage
then we could see all the celebs!!!! :D
i saw michelle chia! so pretty! quan yifeng, mark lee, gurmit singh, bryan wong
then when the parade was about to start i was standing on the stairs then suddenly i saw someone who looked alot like qi yuwu then i kept staring
i think i stared for too long then he looked my direction.. so i quickly shifted my eyes :X
haha.. then other people were also looking.. so cfm is him..
he came with wong lilin!
also very pretty! she looked so young in person..
haha then everyone(girls) kept looking at him at his seat! ok.. erm.. me too..
then i told ttj she got so excited she tried to SNEAKILY TAKE PICTURES of him..
STALKER! heh! XD
haha but he really v good looking
er.. then saw jiada also.. but everyone put so much makeup so i couldnt really recognise until ttj pointed him out
performance felt better than preview day..
maybe coz everyone was v hyped up and partly coz i was sitting in the first row so had a good look at the performers and could interact with them, e.g wave..
haha some of them were damn funny..
there was once a guy went to stand right in front of the barricade to take pictures of the "warriors" posing and acting fierce
then after he took and was focusing on looking at the other warriors suddenly one guy charged at him and pointed his sword into his face then the guy xia dao and totally just jumped back..
heh i laughed like siao.. it was really super funny tt time..
then there was also this guy in the audience who kept dancing.. lol he was super enthu..
after the parade all the ushers also got super high and formed a line down st andrews road and waved at the people leaving
then we became part of the parade and started walking down the parade route to the other sectors..rushed for last train again!
really fun night!
didnt regret joining chingay at all!
too bad cant join ndp 08.. a levels..
but i shall look forward to chingay 09! :D

spent the last few days chionging vday presents..
i think i spent the most time and money on vday this year..
spent like 90 plus..
bought water bottle for my mortal, he gave me chocs and a stuffed toy
shared notebook + ice cream with lishan for my angel.. but the ice cream melted so he threw it away!
aiyo feel so bad.. i shall buy him a new present..a better one..
he bought slippers for me
hmm i realised hc people dont really give sweets and stuff.. they prefer non food items.. haha i like!
i rmb last time in st nicks they used to give tons of sweets squeeze until fridge no space.. then eat until siao.. everyone at home see also just take
erm.. yea thanks everyone for the presents!
aiyo.. lack sleep these few days..
tmr and sat still got chingay whole day till night..
sun got yoga lessons morning...then must chiong to school after that for tkd prac..
today we coordinated the steps..i coordinated with eugenia first.. then the other two will try to follow
bah.. my stances are kind of weird... i lean too backwards alr..

then later when val came we played blackjack and erm.. shared cookies(nono not bet)XD
haha but in the end we all decided to give our cookies to lynn coz not really convenient to carry it home..
only ttj(who is infatuated with sai's tiger cookies and koped all of them) brought cookies home haha

dinner ended around 7 plus..
then i took bus to signature park to go bai nian at uncle john's(dad's poly mate)..
this year v few people went.. too late i think..

haha but got to see friend's gf (i think is gf la :X)
interesting.. last yr saw another friend's gf also heh..
we had a rather interesting journey home after tt..
dad's car battery supposedly gave probs since cny eve
but managed to survive through first three days of cny
then when we were driving along upper bukit timah road around midnight when it suddenly stalled.. go no power to move.. then the car was like crawling on the road..
im fated to be with upper bukit timah road.. my bus broke down there previously too..
lucky we managed to "drag" the car to a side of the road where there was a space to park..
called the tow truck.. it had to come all the way from tampines..
and u know how slow they drive..
waited till 1am..
fortunately uncle steven was kind of "escorting" us home so he waited with us and drove us home..
i think still being able to maintain contact with ur friends since after sec sch is damn cool..
imagines everyone bringing their families along like when we're all like 30+ 40+
all our family members will become friends also! haha
then every year meet to play mahjong or smth... wah shuang~

rather bored again...

abit sian and tired at first.. but after talking crap started feeling high again..
slept at lynn's house! :D haha
it was a refreshing nap!
her bed quite comfy haha and got some food smell :X lol
maybe tt put me to sleep..

went temples and stuff as usual..
went to granduncle's house..
i had no idea another of my uncle(dad's cousin) was a lecturer..
haha and he was saying don't go into bio- chem industries..
coz its too high tech alr.. they only need a few people to push buttons..
then engineering its easy to get a job.. but hard to climb the ladder..
and my dad wants me to go into the service industry..
sian.. i also dno what i want..
i only know tt i don't want engineering.. haha

i can't wait for sunday!! :D

there's like only half of it left now..
haha.. anyway there usually isn't anyone visiting so we just end up eating all ourselves..
went jogging after tt.. walao i run damn slow......
and i only ran 2 rounds then super nua alr..
ARGH damn lannnnnnnnnnnnn..
anyway something to cheer me up after tt was tt my mum bought badminton rackets for me and my bro!!!!!!!!!! :D
yay we shall go to the courts at the stadium some day to play..
came home slacked... lazed around..
cooked ready made pasta for self then went to sleep after tt
slept all the way till 5.30..
woke up feasted on new year goodies again..

hmm.. it seems rather long since i've been online.. and blogging..
school really seems more and more tiring these days..
and even on days when i end at 12 i still feel quite impatient waiting for the day to end..
well.. i found out who my angel is already..
from knowing nothing at all to knowing everything..
haha according to ruyi there is a circular flow of income among me, lishan and gordon
first, lishan buys ex stuff for gordon(her mortal)-> gordon buys back ex stuff for her-> gordon decides to also buy ex stuff for me( his mortal)-> so i have to buy ex stuff for him..
anyway i decided to stop this flow of income by telling him to stop buying ex stuff for me.. so that i dont need to buy ex stuff for him :x
need to save up for valentine's day..

hmm... but felt rather high after cindy finally came out after chinese and her council stuff then we(siak+cindy+me) went to far east plaza to shop..
they bought shoes and other stuff..
i bought a hairband.. now i kind of think its too pink for me..
then had stj at night..
i mistook leon's potato salad as my side dish so i went to eat!:X OPPS!
i shall stop ordering ribs...they are more bones than meat.. and i dun feel full after eating it..
hitched a ride on yuwei mum's car and they started talking crap and niaoing each other.. quite fun XD
been such a long time since i niaoed people..
