CAUTION: ANOTHER (boring) POST ON DREAMS
YES! i have finally remembered one of my dreams!
i dreamt i was in a savanna
and i was some animal.. but i dun rmb wat.
then there were two horses chasing each other..
i think they were enemies or smth
then one horse won and pinned the other to the grass
then suddenly a lion and lioness appeared!
and they wanted to pay me $808 for both horses
(yup i tried to rmb the price they offered exactly in case there was some special meaning to it! XD)
if i didnt accept they'll take the horses by force
so i was thinking whether i should save one/both horses..
yea.. this dream is rather confusing..
like why should i be the one deciding? and how am i even related to these horses..

time flew past these 2 weeks
and mum and dad are back from thailand already!
couple of events happened..
fetched amanda from airport
planned to go lingyan's house initially but then decided it was too late already
so went directly to the airport and did funny stuff at the mrt
asked some random lady to help us take group photo after we tried to take ourselves unsuccessfully (i think she was quite amused)
strolled to the belt then waited for the choir people then photos again for awhile only
then HOME.
super tired then knocked out on the train..

LONG AND BORING STORY AHEAD..

went shopping with lingyan, lynn, ttj, sai at far east..
my thoughts are rather jumbled up. so i dun exactly rmb which event happened first..the airport trip or this..
bought a top that day after thinking for a longgg longggg time
ttj also thought for a long time before finally deciding to buy her top also
sai and lingyan (those with $$$) didnt need to think much XP
ZZ.. whenever i have $$ then i cant find anything i like
but whenever i find smth i like im usually tight with cash :X
and im an impulse shopper! so whenever i see smth i like then MUST buy and usually will buy
ok back to topic..
(smths i feel like im talking to someone when im blogging.. hence the v informal lang..)
this shopping experience was rather interesting so im going into abit of details..
actually its coz im rather bored now..

first.. we went to buy food from old chang kee
i bought carrot cake
lingyan bought yam smth..
ttj bought a spring roll
(see what i mean abt details :X)
then we walked around the basement
initially i was only planning to buy shoes or slippers so i just daoed all the clothes store..
but the shoes weren't nice ):
all of us were on a lookout for some skirts/dresses/smth feminine for lynn then we spotted a nice white dress which even she said was not bad! XD
but the price was too ex..
aiya but it would have looked nice on her (:
although later we discovered that it was rather TOU MING :P
and she also tried another feminine top which she didnt buy in the end!
(lynn: don't worry! we'll secretly go and buy it for u next time! we know u like it! *winks)
in the end lingyan and sai both bought tt top! in different colours
and ttj bought a checkered blouse!
sai bought lil miss tees for her cousin too and i think some other stuff
and lingyan bought A LOT OF other stuff.


next event.. ytd!
half day! though we only missed econs lecture compared to our normal schedule..
chionged to marina square to catch red cliff at 12.40 with andy, siak, dee, eric
as usual cindy walked super fast through citilink
and i was lagging at the back :X
half walking half running to catch up with the rest
bought bk for lunch then went in..
the theatre was super empty then there was like only aunties and uncles other than us there..
but the show was really nice!
it was andy's SECOND time watching it
and cindy's THIRD!
and she was squealing..ok not. she was telling me abt how gd looking sun quan was.. hahahah XP
lol ok la..i think he has nice cheekbones and bone structure
but he's rather nuaaa hehe
after tt dee and siak left coz they didnt want to watch batman and ben joined us
another great movie! :D :D :D
didn't disappoint me
the entire movie was centred around a rather dark and evil thing.. like there's no obvious good..
not even batman
so those who always support the good side and think "the good always wins" may not like the movie
according to eric this movie taught him alot of values
hmm quite true.. and the heath ledger was quite creepy at some parts
and coz i was sitting beside **** during the movie i could tell he "jumped" at some parts!
wahahah omg pls dun kill me
apparently the jumping thing was a chain reaction which affected the other 2 guys also! hoho
okayy actually i happened to look away at tt part so didnt jump haha XD
yea.. so 2 great movies in one day! :D
total in theatre time : ~5 hours

and today! woke up early to mug physics formulas for the nanyang concept test today coz too tired to mug the night before
didnt touch chem..
super hungry during the last hour of the physics paper.. and some ppl's stomach growled! hahaha
after tt slacked ard abit..
watched council try to hang up their centrepiece for maf
then went btm to eat!
finally managed to eat the satay beehoon
then went to N-TUC to look at nice jap snacks (:
but no $$ to buy.. so i only bought caramel corn.
then during the chem test felt super sleepy..
was tempted to sleep at question 40
then stoned at last question for 15 mins coz there was still quite alot of time left..
and the organic chem questions they have are Zzzz..
yup.. end of day! end of long post!

well.. the day passed rather normally again
except that i went abit hysterical during break today
my classmates were trying to prove the point that i can't stand not laughing for 10 consecutive seconds
and they were quite right..
but only with sabo-ing!
if not i can definitely NOT LAUGH for more than 10 seconds!
and apparently.. water seems to be my laughing gas..
i'll try to drink to stop myself from laughing.
but then i'll end up laughing even more and drinking even more.. and the vicious cycle starts
then andy stole my apple again and tried to hang it on the tree thinking that i wouldnt be able to reach
but im TALLLLLL :D
hoho i was just going mad..
been such a long time since i turned mad..
i remember i used to be this crazy almost everyday in sec 3 and 4
and especially the times when i sat next to lingyan in class
hmmm those were fun times but at least now it means that im not as crazy and i've matured and become more sane already! (:

like today, i was just looking at brochures from the psc scholarship fair
and began thinking and planning abt which courses i plan to take and which universities to go to
this time i decided to place higher hopes on myself and look at the possibility of studying at more recognised universities overseas
hoping my parents could support the idea i tried to discuss it with them..
but they told me why dont you just study in singapore. its good enough already wad
i know they were just being practical about the costs of studying overseas and probably because they would be worried abt me being overseas by myself
but smths this kills motivation sigh.
ok now i know how ttj feels like after typing a post.
its like i feel like deleting this entire crap
but yet it accurately reflects my current state of mind..

Chase Dreams

Tips To Recalling Your Dreams

Remembering your dreams will require some effort on your part. But what your dreams can offer and tell you about yourself will be well worth it. Here are some tips in helping your dream recall:

1. Before going to bed, keep a clear mind. Tell yourself that "I will remember my dream when I wake up". This is actually a proven and effective way to help dream recall. Having too many thoughts on your mind can distract you from remembering your dream in the morning.

2. Have a regular bedtime and wake up time. Make this your routine. Going to bed and waking up at a regular time every day aids in dream recollection.

3. Avoid alcohol consumption and taking medication before going to bed. These things may hinder you from remembering your dream. Eating fatty foods too close to bedtime can also divert bodily resources away from the brain and hinder dream recollection.

4. Keep a pencil/notebook or tape recorder next to your bed so that it will be within reach as soon as you wake up. You want to make recording your dreams as easy a task as possible. Having a small lamp by your bedside is also a good idea should you wake up in the middle of the night and want to record your dream immediately.

5. Do not get out of bed immediately. Upon waking from a dream, lay still in your bed, keeping your eyes closed and moving as little as possible. Wake up slowly and stay relax. Hold on to the feelings you have and let your mind wander to the images of what you have just dreamt. Were you frustrated, terrified, or happy?

6. Write down as many details in your dream as you can, no matter how minute or seemingly unimportant it may be. Do not judge the content or worry if it makes sense.
