IM BACK!!
so many things happened for the past 1 and a half weeks.. but no time to blog
there was tkd chalet. i forgot the date.. just walked ard at costa sands. played arcade.. watched tv..

went out with eve,andy,eric,ben to marina sq
didnt really have much to do so we decided to watch body of lies
bad plot. dun watch :X hmm though some parts action was ok..
ok i dun really rmb.. i got stml
played pool, arcade..
i think we walked ard abit too.. ok really dun rmb alr :X

class chalet!!
met at white sands for lunch then proceeded to aloha loyang
the chalet was damn big
bigger than the safra one which i tot was alr damn big
slacked ard and played mahjong for awhile.
discovered the mahjong set had some missing tiles
but we just played on
then ltr realised got some missing again.
looked ard but couldnt find. super spooky. so we decided to change to cards
went to roxy square for dinner
the ban mian shop andy brought us to was not bad. cheap and lots of noodles!:D
ltr went ecp to rent bikes for night cycling
luckily the rain stopped tt night after our dinner
rode all the way from ecp to our pasir ris chalet through tampines and bedok
got lost on our way but found the way back to the park connector
tired but damn fun (:
slept for awhile then headed back to ecp
(changed sleeping position 3 times coz couldnt sleep.. haha and i think i made alot of noises while doing so :X)
cycled more laxingly and took another route following the mrt track.
reached ecp erm.. i forgot wat time. 4 plus i think
legs were dying already but cycled near bedok jetty to try to get a better view of the sunrise
we sat on the rocks and just stoned while waiting for the sun to come up
saw many many planes pass by to land at changi airport.
too lazy to blog details..
went back. slept till late afternn..
bbq at night.
4dec (old grandmother story ahead)
ttj's birthday!
she and sai went to changi for some caas talk then me and lynn were supposed to buy movie tickets to bolt without her knowledge
the plan was for sai to bring her to northpoint(pretending she was hungry and wanted to buy food)
then me and lynn would suddenly pop up and surprise her with the movie tickets
but on the way home from changi. she became super enthu suddenly and smsed all of us to go to her house to play audi -.- haha
then me and lynn said we weren't free and pretended that the 2 of us daoed her and went to watch the movie without her(she wanted to watch the movie for the fat hamster)
ltr she reached then the 2 of us stalked her and sai from behind for a short distance before she discovered us
saw cixin too (:
movie was quite nice.
the baby bolt is damn cute! :D
fat hamster quite cute too hahah
went library to borrow some books for the trip then went to ttj's house to play cards,com and dinner

SINGAPORE - HANOI
cabbed to airport after lunch.
flight was at 4pm
reached hanoi quite late.
their streets were full of scooters and the overhead cables were totally tangled up in "webs"
i have no idea how they even connect..its like there were more than 50 wires winding ard one lamp post.. worst ones looked like there were abt hundreds..
i dno whether i have a photo somewhere..
and their drivers.. horrible.
the bus driver blares his horn almost all the time(that's how all of them drive)
and they seem to be playing on the highway
2 lanes. both in opp direction then when overtaking they'll go to the opp late and only cross back into the correct lane at the last minute when the opp road has an approaching car blasting his horn -.-
and my dad almost got knocked down by a stupid van which was rounding a bend in the SMALL CITY ALLEY at like.. 60km/hr?
crazy drivers crazy roads.. no order at all..
if u wanted to drive. just chiong.
had dinner at some restaurant
tables were allocated and we shared one with a couple and a family of 3.
the son(lyon) was in his third yr at nus and he's vegetarian but he's freaking tall. more than 185.
im going to convert to being a vegetariannnnn(JUST JOKING)
there's another family of 4
2 sons(bryan pri5 and shawn sec1)
shawn's in the same school as my bro so they had lots of stuff to talk abt
and.. bryan.. its just erm shocking/amazing wat people(he told me not to call him a kid)of this age know
big family of 8
4 kids.. but we didnt really mix.
3 boys. 1 girl in poly.
the whole trip only had me and that girl -.- and i didnt talk to her at all also :X
the whole trip wasnt full of old people like i tot it would be and it was quite fun talking to some of them

HANOI - HALONG BAY
visited the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh in the morn
then went on a boat ride to halong bay
some parts were damn nice.. but the wind was freezing
they had some fisherman village among the mountains in the sea then we bought some seafood
they cooked the seafood back on board then we had dinner in the middle of the sea.. quite cool la
though i dun eat seafood hahaha so me and lyon were like just eating the peanuts and the eggs :X
but watching the sunset in the middle of the bay was v nice

HALONG BAY - GUILIN
bus bus bus ride.. dun rmb how long.. but i just kept sleeping.
saw like 2 rather serious accidents along the road.. proves my pt abt their traffic..
and we saw another bus's engine on fire..
the china tour guide was v gd
he's like some guangxi information centre
he told us abt some really interesting chinese tribe culture
girls were called "ah mei" guys called "ah niu ge" damn funny
then ah meis would step on an ah niu ge's feet if she likes him
then got stuff like he will climb up to her house thru bamboo poles if he's trying to court her.
and they have a funny shan ge culture. like will keep singing songs one.
they attract each other thru songs. weird huh.
and china was freaking cold.
my skin's like all dried up. ugh. :/

GUILIN
visited 2 parks. scenic tour so everything was just go ard and see scenery
but quite nice la
went to a tea shop
foot massage
watched a show at night- meng huan li jiang
impressive effects and acrobatic stuff
saw my sec 2 classmate there.
nvr met in singapore but meet in china lol.
walked ard at the shops at night but most were closed
went to see the restaurants selling dog and horse meat.. but too bad from outside cant see anything hahaha :X

GUILIN - YANGSHUO
went for a short boat ride to a tangerine plantation and watched fishermen catch fish using some type of bird(called fish eagles) along the way
my dad fell right in the middle of the boat where there was a hole and ended up with one leg in the water.. coz he was too busy taking video -.- haha
went for another show at night directed by zhang yimou - liu san jie
the entire area could seat like 3000 ppl
then he used real mountains as a backdrop
and the stage was a lake
hundreds of people were involved..
and the props were v v elaborate
they did a moon like thingy on the water too.. dno how to describe :X but it was really nice
effects were damn cool.
but too bad i didnt fully understand what the story was abt.. haha no one else in the tour understood also.. so couldnt really ask :X
its just roughly smth abt an ah mei encouraging the people to stand up against the feudal lords
went for a walk and dessert at night at west street(which supposedly has a lot of ang mohs)

YANGSHUO - DETIAN
boat ride in the morn in the li river
halfway our boat's engine died
then the poor boatman had to row the entire boat with 30 people with a bamboo stick till a taiwanese tour grp came by and we got towed by them
bus to detian long ride again
visited the waterfall which was super nice
the water was really clear
actually at most places the water was damn clear
went to a boundary rock placed between china and vietnam
its like just a stone marking the boundary at the top of the mountain then u could just walk freely about tt area and alternate between vietnam and china (:
no immigration checkpoints or anything like tt

LONG LONG LONG RIDE
the journey took the entire day
asked a couple of stuff about nus
played cards.. random chat..
the adults went out for a walk after we returned to the hotel
the rest had a "party" at shawn's room
